How do I manually change the tax that AccXite has automatically calculated?
There are few reasons why you might want to change the tax that AccXite has automatically calculated in the pay run. As with every other circumstance, what you need to do will depend on your situation.
Below are the reasons why you want to change and how to achieve the desired outcome:
- AccXite is not calculating the tax that you expect
- Employee wants you to deduct additional tax – On going.
- For other reasons
If the tax that you calculated is not matching up with what we calculated, it is possible that the employee information is not complete. In this case, please review the employee details and double check that the tax scale showing up under employee’s Tax Details is correct. If changes required, please update the employee record and then go back to the pay slip and click on Edit and then Save to update the pay slip record.
Please edit the employee record and enter the additional tax to be withheld in “Extra Tax Withheld Per Pay”.
If you are doing an adjustment or catch up pay, then you might want to adjust the tax for that pay slip only. In this case edit the pay slip and Under "Payment Summary", tick the box "Tax - Override Automatic Calculation". In the box that shows up over ride the automatically calculated tax figure with the desired figure. Press save and see if the if the figure is correct.
